Student Action Plan Against Bullying

Ready to take action to address bullying? Maybe not sure how to start? As a student, bullying is something that impacts you, your peers, and your school – whether you’re the target of bullying, a witness, or the person who bullies. Bullying can end, but that won’t happen unless students, parents, and educators work together and take action.

Tell Us Why You Care

  • Some people think that when there is bullying in action, its just teasing. Teens need to realize that it can harm someone mentally. You need to stand up to bullies and tell them that it is wrong.

  • People are bullied and it can make them feel bad about themselves.

  • I care because I know what it is like to be bullied and it doesn't feel so good, you never know what is happening in their own life. And I know what it is like to not try to bully but sometimes we all just can't help it, we don't always know what is going on when you are not around. Just try to stop.

  • I care because bullying is not good. There's no point. Bullies like making other people sad to make themselves feel better. Kids need to feel safe from bullies but someone needs to help bullies take care of themselves too so they will stop.

    Jairik — 12
  • I care because bullying is a horrible thing to do the person getting bullied can become depressed, lonley, insecure ,and even could think about self-harm. I would never want to feel that way so I care and I help prevent bullying and help the person getting bullied.

I was bullied in elementary school

When I was in 4th grade I liked this one boy but there were 2 people who would always bully me because of it. They would laugh at me for it. They would go out of their way to make me feel miserable. I finally stood up to them one day and then I reported them to the principal.
